There are 132 million frontline workers in America and virtually every one of them gets some type of On-The-Job Training (OJT) when they first start a new job.
But who does the training? A professional?
Almost never.
New hires are usually paired with someone who just happens to be there that day. Someone who is convenient. In fast food and retail operations, its usually someone who has been there for less than a few months. This leads to poor learning outcomes.
